It is an innovative attempt to create a structure that crosses national boundaries to deal with the impact of the Colombian conflict on the neighbouring country. Over three million people have been displaced due to the conflict and around 250,000 Colombians have fled to Ecuador. However, they work in an area of very high need and virtually no NGO presence. The area has a significant presence of armed actors and is therefore a very important area in terms of peace building after the peace negotiation. Also, the church will play an extremely important role in peace building. Therefore, the rational for this project is to continue to build the strategic plan and the strengthening of the San Vicente team which has recently seen many changes. The main aim to have continuity and accompaniment of a very weakened partner.
