<narrative>Tackling early childhood marriages and HIV and AIDS in Akwaya, Cameroon</narrative>This funding is for the first stage of a larger project which aims to tackle the tradition of child marriage and the spread of HIV and AIDS which accompanies it in a remote corner of the South West Province of Cameroon. This first stage is about promoting public awareness and setting up the basic structures to implement the full project of liberating girls and providing a safe environment for them to continue their lives.
